Etobicoke
Suzuki Music

Etobicoke Suzuki Music is recognized as one of the first and finest Suzuki programs in Canada. At Etobicoke Suzuki Music, we want to bring the joy of learning music into the home of every family that we serve.

The Suzuki Method

Children all over the world learn to speak their native language or mother tongue with ease, no matter how complex that language might be.

Dr. Shinichi Suzuki (1898-1998) believed that the steps involved in language acquisition can be applied to music learning, and that every child is capable of developing musical abilities. The ideas of parent responsibility, loving encouragement, constant repetition, etc., are some of the special features of the Suzuki approach.

What We Offer

The objective of ESM is to contribute to the community, in partnership with our families, through high-quality music education. In addition to fostering an ongoing appreciation of music, this education seeks to nurture the whole child by developing independence, discipline, and other life skills.

Our programs include a Core Program for violin, viola, and cello; a vibrant enrichment program; early childhood music programs including Headstart and Sprouts for babies and toddlers; and accredited parent and teacher training courses.

Core Program

Each violin, viola, and cello student learns within a Suzuki Triangle: Child – Parent – Teacher

Enrichment Classes

Core students can participate in chamber music, orchestras, fiddle, music theory, and more.

Suzuki Sprouts Program

Our early childhood music program emphasizes peer learning and parental involvement. For infants to age 4.

New! Da Capo Program

Our NEW! Da Capo program focuses building skills needed for early instrument learning.

Headstart Program
