Cindy holds a Bachelor of Music in Performance from the University of Toronto (1993). She studied cello with Daniel Domb, Vladimir Orloff, and Walter Joahim. Cindy has taught cello and music in many different settings, to students of all ages. She has coached multiple students to high-level achievements, spanning silver medals and prestigious provincial titles. Her students are extremely well received at RCM exams and music festivals. Cindy received Suzuki training from the Chicago Suzuki Institute, Ithaca Suzuki Institute, and the Royal Conservatory of Music. Her instructors include Sally Gross, Susan Gagnon, Carey Beth Hockett, Barbara Wampner, and Nancy Hair. She is a long-time member of the Suzuki Association of the Americas as well as the Ontario Music Teacher’s Association.
