Pamela Bettger

Pamela Bettger grew up in London, Ontario where she studied Suzuki violin as a child. Upon graduating from high school she pursued a Performace Degree at McGill University in viola followed by a Bachelor of Education from The University of Western Ontario.

She has enjoyed a career as a freelance violinist and violist in the GTA for the past 25 years playing with various orchestras and artists as well as festivals all over Canada.

Pamela sits on the Board of Directors for the Ontario Strings Association and is currently the chair of the OSA Festival.

Pamela has been a music teacher with the Toronto District School Board since 1998 and currently teaches strings at Etobicoke School of the Arts. She is a member of the Suzuki Association of the Americas and is actively pursuing teacher training.
