Suzanne is an experienced teacher who seeks to inspire and enrich people through music. She enjoys working with people of all ages and guiding them on their musical journey.

Suzanne uses the Dalcroze approach in her teaching, where the student learns about musical concepts through movement of the body. The student develops kinesthetic or muscle memory that serves to deepen their musical experience and artistic expression.

Suzanne studies Dalcroze Pedagogy, and has also studied Orff, Kodaly and Early Childhood Music education approaches. She has studied piano, viola, flute, vocal technique, piano pedagogy and conducting, as well as dance in its many forms.

Suzanne has extensive experience as a church choir director, ballet and music accompanist and music teacher. She has performed as pianist, accompanist for choir, voice and instrumental, choral singer, violist (Winnipeg Junior South Orchestra), and as a dancer (ballet, modern, jazz), in Toronto, Montreal and Winnipeg.

Currently, Suzanne teaches Rhythmic Foundations at Etobicoke Suzuki Music, and the Pia Bouman School of Ballet and Creative Movement. She also works as a ballet accompanist (Pia Bouman School) and teaches private piano lessons.
